Super Cool iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 Hidden Features
Ever since iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 appeared in the shadows, I've been exploring operating systems in search of hidden gems. And after a long search, I found amazing hidden features of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 that you will want to try. And it is not only call recoding apps. Exactly!
While some of the most popular features like dark mode are eye-catching, small but good tweaks are still under the hood. From a practical standpoint, these small changes and improvements look very impressive.
#1. Download apps larger than 200MB
With iOS 13, Apple increased the download limit for apps larger than 200MB. So, if you don't have bandwidth limitations or worry about consuming mobile data quickly, you can download large data-intensive apps on your iOS device.
#2. Enable Low Data Mode
Do you often feel like your mobile data is choking? Well, iOS 13 has the right answer to help your limited bandwidth work to its full potential. When Low Data Mode is on, apps on your iPhone use less data. Settings app → Cellular / Cellular → Cellular Data Options → Low Data Mode.
#3. Bypass blocked senders
Want to stop receiving emails from someone flooding your inbox? Well, use Ignore blocked senders (Settings → Mail) to automatically send emails to people you've blocked on your device.
#4. Automatically close old Safari tabs
Now you don't have to manually close old Safari tabs on your iOS device. Depending on how long you want to keep them, you can delete them after a day, a week, or a month. Go to Settings → Safari → Close Tabs, then choose an option.
#5. Save downloaded Safari files to iCloud Drive or iPhone
Safari now has a handy download manager to avoid clutter. Alternatively, you can save your downloaded files to iCloud Drive so they are available on all your devices. Furthermore, there is also an option to save files only on your device. To do this, go to Settings → Safari → Downloads.
