Restaurant À L’aise is located in the heart of Oslo, at Majorstuen, and was established in 2017 by Danish founders Ulrik Jepsen and Mia Kondrup. The restaurant combines classic French cuisine with the finest Norwegian seasonal ingredients, with precision, technique, and respect for the produce at its core.
In 2023, À L’aise was awarded its first Michelin star, as well as the title Nordic Restaurant of the Year. We are proud to offer a complete dining experience where food, service, and atmosphere come together seamlessly.
À L’aise is currently the only restaurant in Norway to serve Canard à la Presse, presented tableside using a traditional duck press. This iconic dish has deep roots in French gastronomy and represents the restaurant’s dedication to craftsmanship and tradition.
